Soil remediation project, and closure through LAFD

Cornerstone was contracted to assess levels of subsurface soil contamination. Cornerstone delineated
contaminated soils by taking series of boring samples for laboratory analyses of contaminant concentrations.

Cornerstone excavated the area and removed a total of 203.85 tons of contaminated soils with hazardous levels of nickel and chromium.

After the soil was stabilized and the samples met the clean-up goals, Cornerstone backfilled the site with clean imported soil, re-compacted the soil, and resurfaced with concrete to match existing.
