Abnish C. Amar, Ph.D, P.E
Principal Engineer
Dr. Amar is Cornerstone Technologies, Inc.´s Principal Engineer in charge of engineering staff, quality assurance, quality control and report approvals.
Dr. Amar has been working with Cornerstone for over 12 years. It is his responsibility to review workplans, assist with technical consultation on planning, urban land development, civil engineering projects, and hydro geological assessments.
Dr. Amar has been extensively involved in technical geotechnical engineering for nearly 40 years. His additional expertise in analysis, design and management of water resources, water quality, sedimentation, flood control and drainage, design of facilities, and land redevelopment projects make him a great team leader for Cornerstone.
Dr. Amar is well-known and highly respected with all the regulatory agencies and engineering consultants. He regularly attends local municipal meetings and is networked with the engineering community.
Prior to Joining Cornerstone Engineers, Dr. Amar worked for the US Army Corps of Engineers, WEECO Engineers and for his own practice, AMAR International. His specialty is a rare combination of civil and environmental engineering which makes him a great asset to Cornerstone for our land development, facility upgrades, and design/building projects.
Recently at Cornerstone, Dr. Amar worked on numerous Stormwater Pollution Prevention Projects, facility wastewater treatment design/building projects, several investigations and manufacturing facility audits, feasibility studies on land restoration projects, watershed management projects, city redevelopment projects, flood control projects and engineering analysis reports for school development projects.
