Jafar (Jeff) Hashemi, P.E
Civil Engineer
Jeff Hashemi has over 25 years experience in analysis and design of low and high-rise commercial, industrial, single and multi-family residential and retail buildings. Extensive training in the construction of concrete systems, effective wood utilization, the quality control, fabrication and construction of steel structures.
Throughout his career, Jeff has managed and designed all types of industrial projects including material handling and aboveground storage tank systems involving flammable and hazardous materials. Additionaly, he is expereienced in steel, concrete, masonry and wood structures, ranging from electrical equipment pads to commercial buildings.
Some of his project assignments included:
- Analysis and design of aboveground tank systems including pad design, mechanical, electrical and fire life safety. Project include industrial facilities, transportation yards, vehicle pre facilities and other fuel and chemical related operations (most recent project BMW Vehicle Detal Center (VDC) Oxnard, Ca.)
- Design of many office buildings including professional office building in Tustin, Ca and Catalina office building in Redondo Beach, Ca.
- Design of hundreds of residential buildings in Los Angeles areas especially in south-bay area.
- Analysis and design of M.T.O temple in Reseda, Ca.
- Seismic retrofit/ upgrading some warehouses in Vernon, Ca
- Seismic anchorage of medical equipments for Kaiser Permanente in west Los Angeles, Ca
- Structural design of many restaurants such as Gonpachi sushi restaurant in Beverly Hills and Makaser restaurant in West Hollywood.
- Analysis and design of electrical equipment pads for CSI (California Steel Industries) Rolling substation in Fontana, CA and SCE Hinson and Lighthipe substations.

Jeff Hashemi is a registered civil engineer in the State of California practicing structural engineering. He is a member of SEAOC (Structural Engineers Associations Of California), ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers) and ICC (International Code Council).
